Faith
When the clouds seem to close in on me
When everything is stiffling my spirit
And I feel like the end of every good thing is near
And I feel myself falling into an abyss of hopelessness
My heart is defeated it does not want to beat anymore
My time to celebrate life is almost over
I am willing to roll over and die
I know that there is hope at the end of the road
But it seems so unattainable so far so unreachable
But what courage it demands from me
I am at sea and faith shines like a beacon
I will use it as my guide to shore
And I will get there one day
And faith and I will be home together
